Nicholas Poberezhsky

Mr. Poberezhsky is an associate of the firm whose practice area includes criminal and civil defense litigation; he regularly appears before state, municipal, and administrative courts. He specializes in labor and employment law and has successfully represented countless public employees faced with severe disciplinary action including termination, loss of license, and forfeiture of pension. He has extensive trial experience and is particularly skilled at defense development through the use of private investigators, expert witnesses, and forensic and medical examiners. He takes pride in servicing his clients by tending to their needs in an expeditious fashion.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Poberezhsky worked as a consultant for Goldman Sachs & Co., serving in the Compliance Division, where he was responsible for detecting insider trading and other financial improprieties. He also worked as an attorney for Legal Services of New Jersey, where he vigorously defended the rights of indigent tenants who were faced with eviction proceedings. Mr. Poberezhsky earned his B.A. at Rutgers University, graduating with honors, and his Juris Doctor at the University of Miami. He is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
