Jared M. Wichnovitz joined Caruso Smith Picini, P.C., in 2022 as an associate attorney, and his practice encompasses both criminal and civil litigation.
Mr. Wichnovitz’s practice is focused primarily on defending the rights of teachers, school employees, police officers, sheriff’s officers, and other public employees. Much of that work involves defending public employees against disciplinary charges, tenure charges, and other employment-related matters. Mr. Wichnovitz proudly represents several public-sector unions, including, but not limited to, the New Jersey Education Association, and the Fraternal Order of Police.
Mr. Wichnovitz also represents clients in criminal matters; weapons forfeitures; domestic violence; traffic summonses (including D.W.I), and much more.
Prior to joining Caruso Smith Picini, P.C., Mr. Wichnovitz, worked at the Office of the Public Defender in New Jersey for the Division of Mental Health Advocacy.
