Nicholas Albano

Nicholas Albano concentrates on products liability defense and complex civil litigation. He has successfully defended Fortune 50 corporations and privately held businesses in exposure inhalation cases, including asbestos and vinyl chloride litigation, and in a variety of general products liability cases. He has also handled insurance coverage actions growing out of asbestos, environmental and intellectual property lawsuits. Mr. Albano’s reported decisions include Rose Art Indus., Inc. v. Swanson, 235 F.3d 165 (3d Cir. 2000)(reversing the denial of a preliminary injunction in a family of trade dress case) and PFI v. Kulis, 363 N.J. Super. 292 (App. Div. 2003)( reversing a lost profits decision). Mr. Albano was an editor for William S. Greenberg's Trial Handbook for New Jersey Lawyers (West Group 1999). He received his B.A. from Rutgers University, with honors, in 1995, and his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1998, where he was a member of the Cardozo Law Review and an H. Burt and Ruth Mack Scholar. Mr. Albano is a member of the Order of the Coif.
